About Weatheroak Hall – Weatheroak Hall

About Weatheroak Hall

Weatheroak Hall is steeped in history. Let us tell you more and introduce you to the experienced team who will guide you every step of the way.

Weatheroak Hall sits on Brockhill Lane, bordering the parishes of Alvechurch and Wythall in North Worcestershire. Situated in a vast expanse of open countryside but remarkably close to motorway networks.

The original house was built around 1750 by James Mynors with some rework and additional buildings completed in 1884. Weatheroak Hall was the family home of the Mynors family for 150 years from 1785 to 1935 when the estate was acquired by the Bournville Village Trust.
The Mynors’ family crest remains over the front door and reads “Fac et Spiro” – Act is Hope.
In 1967 the estate was leased to Kings Norton Golf Club whose clubhouse occupies part of the building and whose 27 holes stretch across 220 acres to the rear, and due to the careful layout of the buildings and grounds the wedding party and golfers are often oblivious to each other’s existence.
