Weatheroak Hall & Blossom Tree

Location

Weatheroak Hall sits on Brockhill Lane, bordering the parishes of Alvechurch and Wythall in North Worcestershire and is situated in a vast expanse of open countryside – easily accessible from local transport links.

We sit discreetly, side by side and within the grounds of the most prestigious Kings Norton Golf Club and enjoy spectacular views across acres of magnificent countryside – whatever the time of year.

History

The original house was built around 1750 by James Mynors with some rework and additional buildings completed in 1884. Weatheroak Hall was the family home of the Mynors family for 150 years from 1785 to 1935 when the estate was acquired by the Bournville Village Trust.
The Mynors’ family crest remains over the front door and reads “Fac et Spiro” – Act is Hope.
In 1967 the estate was leased to Kings Norton Golf Club whose clubhouse occupies part of the building and whose 27 holes stretch across 220 acres of magnificent countryside to the rear, with spectacular views from Weatheroak Hall whatever the time of year.
